Search for missing woman continues

Elizabeth McDougall (65) was last seen at 5pm on Sunday (26 July) on Route de la Hougue Bie, towards Queen’s Valley.

Anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage which may have been captured in the area around the time Ms McDougall went missing, is now being urged to contact the States police.

She has been described as slim, around 5″4 in height with grey hair styled in a bob. It is thought that she was wearing grey clothing with a green parka-style jacket.

Officers have said that a ‘detailed and comprehensive search’ is being managed by a police search advisor, with help from the honorary police, Jersey Fire and Rescue Service, Jersey Search and Rescue volunteers and Jersey Water workers.

During the early hours of Monday morning, the crew of the Channel Islands Air Search aircraft ‘Air Search One’ were also involved, using a heat-detecting infra-red camera to scour the Route de la Hougue Bie area.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the States police on 612612 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
