Marker buoy found in Jersey waters... after drifting across the Atlantic

AN American coastguard marker buoy has been found off Jersey’s south coast after drifting across the Atlantic.

Crew on the Condor Rapide notified the authorities after seeing the three-metre tall buoy on Monday morning.

The French Customs vessel, Pleuville Le Pelley, then towed it into St Helier Harbour, where a harbour workboat helped to get it alongside.
