The man, who ‘had a bit of belly showing’, forced the doors open by pushing a motorbike that was parked nearby into the glass.
He got his arm in far enough to steal a case of Corona beer, before leaving the bike on the ground and walking off with the beer under his arm.
The States police said the man was wearing smart shoes and trousers, and had a ‘bit of belly showing’ under his double-breasted coat which had sleeves that ‘looked a bit too long for him’.
Anyone with information about the theft, which happened between 2.45am and 3am on Thursday, is being asked to phone the States police on 612612 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
