The aircraft, with 59 passengers onboard, had to be diverted Birmingham Airport instead on Sunday.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for the airline said: ‘Flybe can confirm that the captain of the above flight elected to divert to Birmingham Airport as a precautionary measure following a minor suspected technical fault with the aircraft.
‘The aircraft landed safely without incident and all 59 passengers disembarked as normal when the aircraft arrived on stand. All passengers were re-accommodated immediately on an alternative aircraft to continue their journey. The safety of its passengers and crew is Flybe’s number one priority and the airline apologises for any inconvenience experienced.’
