He suffered minor injuries to his head and face in the incident, which happened on the pedestrian crossing on Rue Le Masurier, near Grand Marché in St Helier.
The alleged attacker, also aged 14, had short, dark hair and was wearing a black hooded top and dark jeans, say the police
