A Peugeot, Ford Focus and Ford Fiesta collided near Midland Stores on Grande Route de St Martin shortly after 7 pm on Wednesday 3 January.
The 21-year-old driver of the Fiesta was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
He was treated in the accident and emergency department and discharged about an hour and a half later. The drivers of the other two cars did not need hospital treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the crash – during which the rear axle of the Fiesta became detached from the car – is ongoing. The road was closed for over two hours.
