The events – which mark the end of five years of German Occupation on 9 May 1945 – are to be held across the Island.
The main events will be in town, where there will be the annual re-enactment of moment the Liberating forces arrived, as well as speeches from the Bailiff, William Bailhache, and Senator Paul Routier.
And there will be the ever-popular party at the Weighbridge, featuring food and drink stalls and live entertainment.
There will be a full round-up – and dozens of pictures of the celebrations – in Wednesday’s JEP.
