Departmental revenue spending totalled £697 million, up from £674 million in 2014, while general revenue income amounted to £691.7 million – an increase of £34 million on the year before, when the figure was £657 million.

States Treasurer Richard Bell said that although there was a small deficit of a little more than £5 million in 2015, it represented an improved position on 2014 when there was a deficit of £17 million.

Treasury Minister Senator Alan Maclean said he was pleased with what the 2015 accounts had to show.
