Last month the States backed a proposal from the minister to introduce age discrimination from September, with race and
sex discrimination legislation having been put in place in stages over the past
two years.
This week Social Security Minister Susie Pinel told a Scrutiny panel that work would begin on the next piece of discrimination legislation, which is related to disability, in 2017 as her officers were currently focusing on family-friendly legislation.
