Visitor rescued after being cut off by tide

Two kayakers alerted Jersey Coastguard after hearing the man’s cries for help just before 8 pm.

The man, who was in his 30s, had been stranded for several hours and was rescued by the Fire and Rescue Service in their inshore boat.
