Michelle Cotillard and Scott Smith have applied for a change of use of The Mower Shop, which is situated off La Commune.
If their application is approved, the pair, who have teamed up with home care and respite provider New Horizons, will create a therapy centre that will offer a range of services.
The property has been owned by the Cotillard family since 1956 and is currently a workshop, store and showroom that is used for garden machinery repair and sales.
