Deputy Louise Doublet, chair of the Education and Home Affairs Scrutiny Panel, played a key role in getting the States to launch the Jersey States Assembly page on the social media website Facebook in January.
The page currently has 59 likes and Deputy Doublet, who spent six years working as a teacher in Jersey before becoming a politician in 2014, wants to use it as a way of involving more people in the political process.
