Island charity the Donna Annand Melanoma Charity has teamed up with Love Theatre to deliver Fry, a 20-minute play, to pupils aged 15 and 16.

Fry aims to raise awareness about malignant melanoma, the most aggressive and life-threatening form of skin cancer, through dealing with the misconceptions and dangers of the sun and tanning.

The production follows three Year 11 students as they embark on study leave, known in the play as ‘the longest summer holiday of their lives’, and Love Theatre director Michelle Smith is hoping that the production will educate young people about how to stay safe in the sun.
