Dressed in a black suit and flanked by his father, the defendant, known as Defendant One, was questioned for more than two hours and categorically denied hatching a plan to move Mr Huelin to avoid a police investigation.
In his evidence Defendant One, who also denies possessing class A drugs MDMA and LSD, importing the class C drug etizolam, and possessing four indecent images of children, told the court that his father saw Mr Huelin passed out in the garage and that Mr Huelin stole the drugs he took before he died from a pharmacy where he worked.
