Troubleshooter is new chairman of Visit Jersey

Mr Keen, who oversaw the restructuring of States-owned Jersey Tourism into Visit Jersey last year, will replace founding chairman John Henwood, who is retiring in May.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Henwood said that he was delighted to be ‘handing over the reins’ to Mr Keen because of his commitment to the Island’s tourism industry.

Jersey-born Mr Keen has worked for over 40 years in the Island’s business community, including roles with Le Riche Group, Jersey Post, Jersey Dairy and Jersey Water and said that he felt very privileged to have the opportunity to lead the board of Visit Jersey Ltd, which aims to bring one million visitors to Jersey each year by 2030.
