Islands Lotto, which has been licensed by the Jersey Gambling Commission and has no association with the existing Channel Islands Lottery, has set up the online lottery game Jackpot 6, which is similar to the UK’s National Lottery, where players choose six numbers from a pool of 36.
If a player matches six numbers they win £100,000 while a player who matches five balls and a bonus ball will win up to £20,000 – smaller cash prizes are also available.
The winning numbers are drawn each month using a random number generator and tickets cost £2, with at least 15 per cent of the money from ticket sales will go to good causes in Jersey.
Islandslotto.com is live and players can register to play both instant win games and the Jackpot 6 draw, with the first Jackpot Draw due to be held on Thursday 31 March.
