Officers want to contact a man wearing a ‘big black jacket’ who was seen hitch-hiking on Grande Route de St Laurent at about 3 am on Saturday 5 December.
The man, who had white hair and is believed to be in his 40s, was spotted on the stretch of road between Three Oaks Garage and St Lawrence Parish Hall heading towards the parish church.
The force also want to speak to two other men who were also seen hitch-hiking near to St Lawrence Church and Stephen Cohu Antiques just after 3 am.
Both men are described as between 20 and 30 years old, ‘well-built or muscular’ and wearing jackets.
Police are also trying to trace a fourth man, who was seen walking near Thistle Grove commercial estate, where officers believe Mr Lynch was last seen.
