The Condor Liberation was damaged while berthed in Poole Harbour last week meaning that scheduled sailings over the weekend and today were cancelled.

Meanwhile, the bad weather has meant that the Condor Rapide, which runs between the Channel Islands and St Malo, has also been cancelled today. On its website, the company has said that the wave heights were today predicted to be outside of safe sailing limits, while wind speeds were expected to reach around 40 knots.

The Rapide had also been due to run an additional service between Jersey and Guernsey this afternoon. That has also been cancelled.

Meanwhile, the £50 million Liberation, which was launched last March, remains out of action after being damaged during strong winds last Tuesday.
