Lloyds Bank marks anniversary with £600k in donations

The organisation, which works to help eliminate disadvantage experienced by Islanders, has given a total of £626,062 during the year – £205,000 of it in the last three months to eight charities.

Among the recipients was Jersey Mencap, which received £50,000 towards its Self Advocacy Project, a service that offers free, independent and confidential support to people with learning disabilities to enable them to speak up for themselves, for example when making decisions about their lives, seeking legal advice or filling in forms.
