The 30-strong group from the Jersey Financial Services Commission's registry, IT, HR and facilities departments will pocket £38,725 each following the jackpot win.

Following the draw at Enchanted Narnia at the Weighbridge last night, it was revealed that the £100,000 second prize and the £25,000 third prize both went to Guernsey ticket holders.

The top three prizes, in addition to a further ten prizes of £1,000, were drawn by a random number generator and can be claimed at any time in the next 12 months.

As in the past, money raised from the sales of the tickets will go to the Association of Jersey Charities. Last year the record-breaking winning ticket worth £1,220,600 was won by caretakers and kitchen staff at Elizabeth College in Guernsey.
