Mark Boleat, the speaker at a Chamber of Commerce lunch on Wednesday, also criticised Jersey’s political system, which he suggested made it ‘very difficult for elected representatives to make decisions’.
Mr Boleat also took the opportunity to tell the audience of States Members and the business community that the Island now had a new ‘think tank’, the Jersey Policy Forum, of which he was a member.
