The first ever Jersey Jingle Jangle will be held at Fort Regent on 19 December, and hundreds of Islanders are expected to attend.

X Factor finalist Luke Friend, who finished third in the TV talent competition in 2013, will also perform at the event.

Union J, who have had four top ten hits since the 2012 series of the X Factor, including Carry You and You Got It All, performed in Jersey this year at Sure’s Big Gig in the Park, alongside fellow British pop band The Vamps.

The band’s youngest member, George Shelley, is currently on reality TV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

The Jersey Jingle Jangle will be his first performance after spending time in the jungle.

Friend (19), who has performed in Jersey on several occasions, released his debut single last year and is currently working on his first album.

Organisers of the event have said that more special guests will be announced and the event will be a party that ‘should not be missed’.

Tickets cost between £25 and £30 and are available online through the Fort Regent website, by phone on 449827 or from the Fort Regent concert desk.
