The six winning images will be reproduced as postcards to be given next year to visitors staying at the Luxury Jersey Hotels consortium, the JEP’s partner in the competition, which is sponsored by Jersey Post.
Amateur and professional photographers are invited to submit pictures that show the Island at its best, and a panel of judges will select five of the winning photos, with the sixth image being voted for by JEP readers.
JEP picture editor Peter Mourant said: ‘I always look forward to judging this competition because the standard is very high, and the natural beauty of the Island is made for great photography.’
The winning photographers will each receive dinner and an overnight stay for two at one of the Luxury Jersey Hotels, with the winner of the JEP readers’ choice also winning lunch for two at Bohemia restaurant.

Luxury Jersey Hotels comprise The Atlantic, Grand Jersey, Club Hotel, L’Horizon, Hotel de France and Royal Yacht Hotel.
Chairman Patrick Burke, said: ‘The postcards are fabulous ambassadors for the Island and they have always been very well received by the many guests who come to our hotels – they want to tell their friends and family about how lovely Jersey is.’
