All 14 units of the Brownies attended, meaning that an amazing 169 of them were all together at the park – as well as 30 leaders.

Brownie Adventure Day is held every year so that all the different Brownie groups can have a fun and exciting day out together.

They enjoyed all the wonderful activities – tractor rides, petting the animals, the indoor play barn, the pillow, toboggan and inflatable slide.

Q: What did the tree say to autumn?

A: Leaf me alone.

Q: What did one autumn leaf say to the other?

A: I am falling for you.

Q: How do you fix a broken pumpkin?

A: With a pumpkin patch.

Q:How do Eskimos make their bed?

A: With sheets of ice and blankets of snow.

The water areas were a big hit, especially with the weather being so good. Jepson and the brownies also had a go at carting, a ride on the bicycles, mini golf, the mole hill and, of course, they all got lost in both of the mazes.

They finished off a tiring day in the afternoon with some lovely ice creams.

Organiser Fiona Lawson, West District Commissioner, told Jepson: ‘We chose the aMaizin! Adventure Park as it was somewhere we hadn’t used as an Island group before and there was something for everyone with a big variety of activities.

‘We have had a fantastic day out and the girls have loved getting soaking wet, mixing with the other Brownies and having great fun.’

Zoe Higgins (7) said: ‘We got lost in the maze and I loved seeing the Shetland ponies and Jepson. The tractor ride was really bumpy.’

Abbie Hendry (7) added: ‘The big slide and panning for gold were my favourites. The slide is really fast and I went on with my best friend.’

Tilly Mae Horton (7) said: ‘Everyone was laughing in the water tunnels. I got soaking wet and I was happy to spray the others. It was fun.’

It was so much fun Jepson is really hoping that he is invited along next year on their big day out – wherever it may be!

Design the winning Christmas card and you might get a bumper delivery from Santa

IF you would like to win a big sack of presents in time for Christmas, then there is still time to enter our competition.

Our friends at the Co-op have asked for Jepson readers and fans of GP Ted, who appears in our sister paper, the Guernsey Press, to help them design their new Christmas card.

They need a lovely picture to go on the front of their card, which they will send all over the Channel Islands and even the UK.

From Father Christmas and snowmen, to reindeer and Christmas trees, there are plenty of things you could draw to really help make people feel festive.

Your picture should be drawn on A4 white paper and you can be as creative as you like with the colours.

The winner will receive a special visit to their home just before Christmas and receive a bumper sack full of presents.

So get your pencils and crayons out and show me what you can do!

Please send your drawings to: CICS Christmas Card Competition, The Channel Islands Co-operative Society Limited, 57 Don Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 4TR by no later than Friday 6 November 2015 clearly stating your name, age, address and phone number on the back.

Good luck everyone!
