Also an exciting part of the summer holidays for members, this year’s camp was held at Alyson Malzard’s yard at Groznez, St Ouen.

Lasting just under a week, it provided an opportunity to sleep under canvas and to have ponies stay on site in specially constructed pens.

Riding tuition was given by local and visiting instructors, and there was a visit from UK area representative, Louly Thornycroft.

Lessons were put into practice at the end of the week with a one-day-event which included dressage, show-jumping and cross-country phases.

There was also a fun side to activities with gymkhana games, dismounted show-jumping and time to chill out and socialise with friends.
