The producers of Couples Come Dine With Me are currently looking for local contestants for a forthcoming series of the hit show.
A spin-off of the regular Come Dine With Me programme, which has been running since 2005, the couples version involves loved ones competing together for a cash prize by hosting dinner parties.
Anyone interested is asked to email comedinewithme@shiver.tv, including your names, ages and phone number
A representative from ITV Studios, who are behind the show, said: ‘We are currently looking for some fantastic couples that are in a relationship to take part in the show and we’d love to here from you NOW!!’
They are currently casting in a number of areas, including Jersey and Guernsey, and will be visiting the Island on the week of 25 May to meet potential participants.
Couples over the age of 18 are being sought, and filming will take place on the week of 22 June.
A total of three couples will host three dinner parties over three nights.
In recent days the producers have been sending tweets advertising the fact that they are looking for Jersey contestants to a number of local organisations and well-known Islanders, ranging from Condor Ferries and Jersey Met to Nerina Pallot and James Walker.
Previously, four Islanders had their dinner party hosting skills showcased on Channel 4 when a Jersey edition of Come Dine With Me was made in 2012.
Craig Dempster, Kevin Pamplin, Jane-Anne Collier and Jess Stanier were the participants in the episode, which was first broadcast on 16 November that year but has since been repeated on a number of occasions.
Mr Pamplin, who was a BBC Radio Jersey DJ at the time but now works as business manager for the The Jersey Brain Tumour Charity, offered the following advice to any potential participants:
‘If you’re going to do it then you’ve got to commit yourself to the process and don’t take it too seriously.
‘It’s TV so they are looking for characters, but be aware that the one thing you thought you would get away with – that one crass joke or comment – will end up being the one thing that you’ll be remembered for.
‘Be open minded, but be mindful it’s just a TV show and it’s orchestrated in a certain way – they want certain things to come across.

However, Mr Pamplin, who unfortunately came last, said that he had no regrets about taking part in the show.
I enjoyed the process,’ he said. ‘Is was a fun thing to do
‘I knew one way or another how I’d come across, because I wasn’t playing the game.
‘They put me across as a funny DJ character and because I was consistent all the way through most people said I was a version of myself.
‘I got some very nice comments on social media about the show, but some were the opposite.
‘The main difference with this new show is that it’s for couples. But I think that as long as you’re a strong coupole and can support each other then I can see it being more enjoyable.’
