More than 100 adults and children, most wearing bunny ears, ran and walked from the Waterfront to Bel Royal and back to raise money for charity.
The annual event, organised by the Jersey Women’s Refuge and the Variety Club of Jersey, drew more than 100 entrants, the biggest attendance ever for the annual event.
Refuge fundraiser Joanna Hepworth said everyone had a really good time, including two Islanders who completed the run dressed from head to toe in furry bunny suits on a very warm morning.
‘It was a fantastic turnout, and probably the biggest run we have had so far,’ she said.
‘We have raised lots of money for the Refuge and Variety, and everyone had a good time.
‘There were lots of kids taking part, which was really good to see and they were running all the way.’
The run began at 9.30 am at Jardins de la Mer – where there was live entertainment – and all the competitors were safely back by late morning.
