Dozens of Islanders reported seeing funnel clouds – a swirling cloud similar to a tornado but which doe not touch the ground – over Jersey and Guernsey.
And a number of waterspouts – a tornado-like cloud which touches down over sea – were seen around the coasts.
Several Islanders sent in their pictures to the JEP.
