Jersey Met Office forecaster Peter Munns said that this week would continue to be set fair, with temperatures peaking at around 17°C on Wednesday and Thursday – way above the 13°C average for this time of the year.

‘There are no weather fronts anywhere near us,’ he said, ‘so it looks as though we are going to remain dry and settled. The wind will go round to the east and pick up a bit towards the end of tomorrow, so there will be a bit of a fresher feel at times, but it will drop again on Thursday.
