Those against the proposition argued that it would have put the whole project in jeopardy and could have meant taxpayers losing out on millions of pounds.
But Senator Breckon said that Jersey was in an entirely different situation from five years ago, when Members were ‘sold’ the Jersey Development Company scheme.
