The charity was nominated by staff and as part of the year-long partnership Jersey Post will also become the official sponsor of the charity’s cycling challenge, which will now be called the Jersey Post Macmillan Jersey Cycling Challenge. Taking place in September, the fundraiser will see 25 local cyclists peddling from Venice to Genoa, each raising a minimum of £1,800 in sponsorship for the charity.
During the year ahead staff at Jersey Post will be taking part in a wide range of fundraising activities, including entering teams in the Macmillan Indoor Rowathon on 17 May and in the Macmillan Corporate Golf Day on 10 October; and holding coffee mornings as part of Macmillan Jersey’s Greatest Coffee Morning in September.
