In the December edition, the magazine has profiled 300 of the top ‘business personalities’ in Guernsey and Jersey, which is causing quite a debate on social media.

‘We were searching for a way to highlight such a landmark in publishing,’ said Brief editor James Falla.

The 300 list was intended to feature those business people with a higher profile.

In doing so, said Mr Falla, it highlights the wide-range and diversity of the business communities in the islands. ‘It was a lot of work to pull together but it certainly seems to have got people talking,’ he said.

The pan-island monthly magazine has gone from strength to strength in recent times. The launch of an online edition in the autumn has seen nearly 6,000 subscribers sign up to access a digital version of the magazine, and distribution of the magazine has changed to make it much more accessible.
