Chamber gives a lukewarm reception to proposed Budget

In the latest edition of the publication Chamber Online, members say the budget could be better for business and lacked signs of encouragement for many sectors of the local economy.

One member said: ‘It is crucial that the economy, and therefore business, starts growing again. It seems that some factions of government seem to be anti-profit.’

Chamber president James Filleul wholeheartedly agreed and said that he fundamentally believes that a healthy growing economy is the foundation on which all else is built.
