Speaking to the JEP before his one-off performance at the Arts Centre on Friday in aid of the Love Hearts Appeal for Great Ormond Street Hospital, Mr Bryson described Jersey as ‘beyond his wildest expectations’.
And the American author, whose books include Notes from a Small Island, about his tour of the UK, and Down Under, about Australia, did not rule out the possibility of coming back again and writing about Jersey.
‘I really love it. I absolutely love it. It really is even more charming and beautiful than I expected,’ he said.
