After more than a decade Jersey will see the return of an Island-based higher education course to train local nurses this September.
Fifteen students will be offered a place on the three-year pre-registration nursing degree, which is a joint venture between the Health department and the University of Chester.
Julie Mesny, head of nurse education at the Health department, welcomed the return of the programme, which was previously taught on the Island up until the 1990s.
