The multi-million pound film, Knights of Impossingworth, has hit the headlines in recent weeks after it was revealed that the company behind it, Canbedone Productions, had received a £200,000 grant of taxpayers’ money to help with pre-production costs.
Doubts were cast about the authenticity of the project and the speed at which it was progressing but the man behind the film, director Keith Cavele, has told the JEP that those concerns are without foundation.
‘Jersey is going to be front and centre throughout the whole thing,’ he said. ‘Some parts will take place in China but the rest of it is Jersey and a lot of well-known locations such as Devil’s Hole and the Five Mile beach are actually in the story. So anyone who has ever been here will recognise the Island.’
