More shelters needed if we are to travel by bus

From Stephen Laugée.
I EXPERIENCED the LibertyBus service for the first time last week in a journey to Rue des Prés.
I missed the return journey (as LibertyBus were on time!) and therefore walked to Georgetown and returned to town on the double-decker. I was entirely satisfied with the service.
Fortunately, the weather was dry with little wind during my journeys as neither stop was provided with a bus shelter. I appreciate that bus shelters cannot easily be accommodated at all bus stops but at the Rue des Prés stop, for example, there appeared to be an area of public land complete with a park type bench – but no shelter.
I understand that current government policy is to encourage more use of public transport but I would certainly not opt for bus travel if I had to wait in pouring, and perhaps driving, rain and I imagine a lot of potential passengers would share my sentiments.
