Environment Minister Rob Duhamel approved the St Aubin development this week, saying that the design, scale, siting and appearance of the dwellings were appropriate to the setting, and that the development would not cause an unreasonable loss of private amenity.
Objectors had said that the development would dominate the area, result in a loss of privacy, and that the building works would result in a lot of disruption.
