Since the beginning of September honorary police in St Saviour have been issuing instant fines to drivers who leave their car on the pavement.
The police warned motorists towards the end of the summer term in July that they would be clamping down and Centenier Gorvel believes that parents picking up and dropping off their children at schools in the area have finally got the message.
