In a recent share-out of £261,669 in lottery proceeds given out by the Jersey Association of Charities, the bureau was given the grant to pay for a part-time debt adviser’s salary for two years.
Bureau chief executive Malcolm Ferey said that they were grateful for the support from the association because the service provided by their two debt advisers was vital.
