Broadlands director Roger Trower and Le Gallais and Luce partner Paul Scally have called on the States to extend the temporary rise in the stamp duty threshold due to come to a close at the end of November, or to abolish stamp duty entirely for first-time buyers.
At the end of next month the temporary rise in the stamp duty threshold from £400,000 to £450,000 will come to an end.
