London-based CT Plus, part of the HCT Group, will be operating Jersey’s bus services, including school buses, from 1 January.

When CT Plus was announced as the preferred bidder for the service, officials at Connex said that they had not been given a chance to outline their full plans for the service.

The contract with CT Plus – negotiated at £3.5 m per year – will initially be for seven years, with an option to extend.
