Earlier this year the States police launched Operation Road Runner – an initiative to crack down on dangerous driving and reduce the number of crashes on Jersey’s roads. During this month, officers will be focusing on drink-driving.

As part of the four-week campaign, people are being urged to stop family and friends getting behind the wheel after drinking and report those suspected of drink-driving.

The police will also be publishing regular reports on the number of people caught drink-driving, and Chief Inspector John Sculthorp will answer questions on road safety in a live web chat.
