Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean was due to hold talks with Shalom Simhon, the Israeli Minister for Industry, Trade and Labour, to discuss digital collaboration between the Island and Israel.
Senator Maclean is leading a Jersey delegation to London to attend Innovate Israel 2012. The conference is expected to connect more than 350 innovative Israeli web, mobile and digital entrepreneurs and businesses with their British and European counterparts.
The private meeting of ministers and officials was secured following a recent trade mission to Israel by a Jersey delegation. And the Jersey representatives believe that Innovate Israel 2012 will provide excellent opportunities to raise the profile of the Island’s digital proposition to an influential audience.
