Hundreds of people who have bought tickets – some costing as much as £300 – now may face a struggle to get their money back.
Anyone who has paid to go to the concert should be able to make a claim for the lost money, but the ability to recoup losses could depend on how their payment was made.
Credit card holders can approach their card provider, but those who used debit cards must make sure that their providers have signed up to the ‘Chargeback’ scheme which allows payments to be reversed where there is a problem with any goods or services purchased.
Anyone who paid by cheque or cash could find it more difficult to get a full refund.
