Senator Philippe Marini had a busy programme of meetings with politicians and officials as he was briefed on how Jersey’s finance industry operates. His committee scrutinises proposed government legislation.

The fact-finding mission followed a States-led delegation to Parish last June.

Yesterday morning, Senator Marini met Chief Minister Ian Gorst, Treasury Minister Philip Ozouf, Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean and the Island’s ‘foreign minister’ Senator Philip Bailhache.
