'Huge glass box will ruin the headland'

Concerns for privacy and about building in the protected green zone were other issues raised by the residents of the Petit Port Close residents committee at the meeting.

The group are opposing plans to demolish Ker du Pons, a large bungalow on Mont du Petit Port, St Brelade, to build the five flats and two houses.

Around ten people met to discuss the development, which borders the new Coastal National Park, including St Brelade Deputies John Young and Sean Power, St Brelade Centenier Jeff Hathaway and Senator Sarah Ferguson, who lives in the parish.
