Karina Bisson showed her skill and temperament as she notched up a double over two of the best bowlers in the world, and will take on Caroline Brown in the singles final, while Rachel Macdonald, Kate Nixon and Lindsey Greechan take a tilt at the triples title.

Bisson, who was British champion in 2006, outplayed the 2010 Commonwealth

Games champion, Natalie Melmore, a prodigiously talented 21-year-old from Torquay, winning at a canter, 21-8.
