He defeated Ireland’s Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Gary Kelly, 21-13, in the final at the Stanley club in County Durham yesterday.
‘It’s definitely a career-best for me,’ said the 19-year-old prodigy. ‘I was proud to represent Jersey in Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, where John Lowery and I did well, but this is the first international title I’ve won, and it means a lot to me.’
