Polish national Piotr Pawel Pudlowski (28) died from head injuries after his car smashed into a truck in St Mary before colliding with a granite wall outside Bethlehem Chapel.
The married father of one was travelling south along Rue de la Rosière in the late afternoon of 17 April when he failed to stop at the ‘inadequately marked’ junction with Rue des Buttes, the inquest heard.
Speaking after the inquest, Transport and Technical Services chief officer John Rogers said: ‘We have to review the outcome of the findings of the inquest. It is not possible to make any comment about this at the moment.’
